WiCSE (Women in Computer Science & Engineering) at UC Berkeley will be hosting the 9th annual Berkeley-Stanford Meetup, a research-focused event for graduate and undergraduate students, on Saturday, April 29th, 2023. Women from Berkeley and Stanford will share their research at our poster and spotlight talk sessions. There will be panels with guest speakers from academia & industry, breakout sessions on diversity & inclusion as well as transitioning from graduate school, and numerous opportunities to socialize with other women in computer science, electrical engineering, and related fields. The goal of this event is to increase awareness of the work that is done within EE & CS, to strengthen the ties between graduate women at Berkeley and Stanford, and to promote thoughtful discussion of diversity initiatives that affect minority groups. The event is open to female-identifying graduate and undergraduate students interested in research.
